Many years ago, I used to write occasionally for The Freethinker, which described itself as a 'secular humanist monthly' and stood out from the crowd because it was still set by letterpress and contained no photos or images. It was established by G.W. Foote in 1881 and was published without a break until 2014 when it retreated to being an internet-only publication.
My articles were mainly about aspects of freethought history. I am posting scans of some of the articles here. If you have got this far, I hope you enjoy them.
