George Gissing's
radicalism

George Gissing's depiction of radicalism in 'Workers in the Dawn'

Back in 1986, I wrote an article for the Gissing Newsletter about the depiction of radicalism in George Gissing's first published novel, Workers in the Dawn (1880). I've posted the full pdf of that issue of the Gissing Newsletter below.

The full citation is:

Andrew Whitehead,
‘”Against the Tyranny of Kings and Princes”: radicalism in Workers in the Dawn’, Gissing Newsletter, 22/4, 1986, pp.13-28

The website of the Gissing Newsletter (more recently the Gissing Journal) is here.
